The D-Scope Solid Nail is an intramedullary intramedullary nail that can be implanted in children aged 18 months and over. The rigid nail was designed for the treatment of skeletal dysplasia, pseudoarthrosis, fractures, deformities of the humerus and patients diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Das aus medizinischem Edelstahl gefertigte D-Scope Solid Nail System sorgt für maximale Stabilität durch das spongiöse Gewinde am proximalen Ende des Nagels, das mit einer Verriegelungsschraube unterhalb des Gewindes am Knochen fixiert wird. Die Fixierung an der distalen Epiphyse wird erhöht, indem ein Kirschnerdraht in die dafür vorgesehene K-Drahtöffnung eingebracht wird.
